can you have deformed wing syn with NO varroa ?

all my hives, have been treated with apistan strips late summer.

some hives, 4 +/- still have the very occasional bee walking away from home, these bees are probably around 6 weeks old. .....ta

You can treat in the autumn and still have plenty of varoa the following spring...

Yes! They are only a vector for viruses. They should recover now and you will see less evidence of DWV.
