Quick one - over the last couple of days there's been steady activity with pollen coming in, and things quietening down late afternoon. Just now (17.30hrs) I noticed a sudden spike in activity - see video - there are lots of bees departing and arriving, and a few Nasanov fanning at the entrance. I inspected yesterday and the brood is looking good, and has plenty of space, so I am assuming this is an orientation flight?

Looks normal activity to me, just the bees making the most of a lull in the weather.
Lovely pristine hive you’ve got there!

Temperature probably rose the extra degree to trigger the flights. Happens any time of the day
