I have a line on some poly for sale. Some is assembled but never used, how well assembled I don't know. Some of the supers are in the box.

Maisemore kit.

Two floors, roofs, broods.

Five supers.

All up by my tally is £231.06 as per website.

What would you offer?

PH

If going by two thirds percentage I'd say X=0.66 x 231.06

:)

In the sales you can pick up a full hive. Brood box, floor, roof, crownboard and 2 supers for £78.

All brand new and delivered for free.

Id say closer to £120 for what you have or 0.51 x FV (where FV = Full Value)

ohhh....you mean:

Full hive + brood box + floor + roof + crownboard + 2 * suppers = £78

(word equation)

Lol...

I have to read (word equation) first as its in brackets

What if I didnt want the roof? Just knock it off the £78! ;)

Full hive + brood box + floor + crownboard + 2 * suppers = £78 - roof

Them's the :rules: :icon_204-2:

I learned it as BODMAS (brackets, order, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction) but my sons tell me they teach it as BIDMAS (I=indices) now. Either way, it is the sequence that you perform arithmetic operations

The vendor took the hump....LOL

PH

I get that frequently on ebay when people start at silly high prices.. Occasionally I get bargains as well.

Now my approach is: If the asking price is silly high, wait and wait and wait until even the dumbest vendor realises it is.. Sometimes it sells at silly prices to even dumber buyers..

My favorite is Facebook posts:

"I am going to put this £100 new item on facebook but thought I would offer it here first for £300"...
