I was taking off my OSR a couple of weeks ago and took a couple of brood frames out with a good bit of OSR in them.

I shook all the bees off the frames and stacked them up in my barn. Later I decapped the honey on the frames with a heat gun and decapping tool.

Then span both sides out in my extractor.

Re-stacked the frames in the barn

Moved them next day and saw a bee on one of the frames...a queen had hatched from one of the brood frames.

Put it in with a Q- hive in cage for a while let it out about 6 hrs later.

Checked hive Saturday morning and she is laying like mad.....

Do you think I should breed from her as she must be tough as old boots....

She sounds indestructable lol. Bet she was dizzy after her spin though:D
