I brought a bunch of newly populated Apideas home last night to keep in the cool and darker garage for a few days so that I could keep them humid with misting through the grills. I went out this morning to check and distinctly heard a queen piping. I had read about this but never experienced it before and was surprised how loud (even for my failing hearing) the sound was. Every day is a school day.
