I went back to the excellent "making fondant" video by Rosti in our video section to refresh my memory on how to make it.

To save anyone else from wandering around Tescos or Sainsburys looking for those little jars of liquid glucose ---- it's now sold in a flat tube!
 
own made fondant

has anyone thymolised fondant before if so how much and when do you add it?
 
I have made some of my autumn syrup into fondant.

hums a bit when you heat it, but the thymol probably evaporates when heating.
