I for one read most replies and posts, some I ignore and some I value, Beekeeping I find is split into two catagories hobbyists and commercialists, both have different ideas and methods but both have the same interest, as one will manipulate hives for maxamum yeld the other will maxamise for enjoyment, there are slight variations in methods but the results are the same.
All Nationalities are different in their ways
Humans are all different and their outlook on life is influenced by life changing events and knowledge, or the lack of it
Would we eat cat or dog..... no, but tell the Chinese this and the would think we are the stupid ones
So come on guys there is room for all of us on here, have a debate but no arguments and backstabbing remarks, we are all Civilized People and all love beekeeping

the italian forum is heavily modded and woe betide anyone who starts a new thread on a topic already covered. it's a shame as new succinct threads, summarising previous discussions and maybe giving links seems a much better way to go.
i like the light touch modding and the openness of this forum.

but at the end of the day no-one likes the lazy - no different here as to in the real world where some people think beek mentors are actually people who do your beekeeping for you for free.

And ... for what it is worth (and as I have said on a number of occasions) I welcome Finman's insight into beekeeping ... his posts are often bang on the money and appreciated by many of the forum members. Just that they are, occasionally, wrapped up in a bit of bile !!

I think I have probably learned more from you Finman than any other individual on this forum. I will miss your knowledge and experience, and your sense of humour.

I spend a lot less time on this forum than I used to because if I have a problem and need advice I want helpful answers, not to be slated for having made a mistake or having a problem in the first place - and I find I generally don't get that kind of support here

I really don't think you read some posts properly Finman ... I seem to have been singled out, by you, simply because I have one hive and don't fit with your view that 'all hives have varroa - treat or they die'.

We shall see next spring if you are right and I am wrong, I'll post the results, whatever they are ... of course, that's if you are still around to read it !

That's very sad eleanor the forum is supposed to help beekeepers and at times even lately some posts have been less than helpful and only act as to put people off posting. Please don't stay away to long I don't think we are all to bad. I do agree over finman he has a good sense of humour when he's not over worked and right now laid up.

I have one question: how to mix 500 kg honey ready to jar it so that if will become soft crystal honey.

yes I know because I did it just half an hour ago. I have done it 45 years.

The most difficult is to get that 500 kg, extract and sieve it. The rest runs like a tap water. And customers are allready waiting, when the honey arrives.

You have time to think all kind of essential philosophy there. Go for your dreams.
