Bluetractorman here, aka Richard Elliott.
Just started beekeeping this year. I joined the Chichester beekeeping course which had to be stopped after a few sessions. Undeterred I've gone ahead. Was lucky enough to get an over-wintered nuc which last week I transferred to a hive. All seems fine so far fingers crossed. Saw the queen, saw eggs. All looked healthy. Gave them some neopoll fondant with pollen as a boost. Bees look healthy and active and I'm finding myself visiting to watch them frequently. No doubt I'll need the advice of the experts on this site and thank you for having me as a new member.
