Building a smoke house and bbq area.

Im wanting to build a stone smoke house and bbq area at the side of my house however i have my bees roughly 1 acre away from the hives on the same side of where i want this smoke house/bbq area to be. Been wanting to build this for some time now, even before i got into beekeeping but now ive got bees in the next field, im thinking maybe this wouldnt be a good idea.

Would you say 1 acre is a bit to close for this if one os into bee keeping

Depends which way the wind is blowing..

Acre is area. It could be about 70 yards x70 yards or 4840 yards x 1 yard. So the bees could be anywhere - and you are expecting us to guess?
