Is that part of "BBKA Enterprises Ltd" sales items ?

Thanks Mosquito,I have been looking for a good mould supply.

What paint do you use for painting on wax?

I sell my Candles for £3.00
They are 10cm tall and burn for 50 hours.

OK back on the serious subject of candles after a cold shower!

Being the Yorkshire man I am, my ears pricked up at the sound of proffit £££

£3 i think for a bit of string and a sheet of un-wired foundation at about £6 for 10 sheets. (i.e 10 candles)

Is it realy that simple?

PS still cant see the pick but on doing a quote it shows the img link

hello all, first posting here, candles, right you got to go by the weight of wax
and you should mix 25%beeswax with other (cheaper)wax.
i sell mine for ?3 small and ?6 for large using latex moulds
make you can sell as the moulds are not cheap.
there is also a market for pure wax blocks(deep sea divers)on their zips!!!
good luck iombeeman

Any Water based acrylic paint is OK to use on candles.

enzyme have a look at my Albums, See if you can see the picture there.
The candle I sell I should sell for around £10.

Thanks for the info iombeeman. So by adding upto 25% cheaper wax you can still class it as "Pure bees wax"????

What cheaper wax can you use? Ear!!!:puke:

There are no pics showing for me on this thread apart from Finmans girl and the boiler?

Of course diluted wax cannot be called pure. Pure is pure at 100% beeswax anything else called pure beeswax or even beeswax for that matter may well attract the attentions of trading standards and rightly so.

no you can`t claim to be pure wax if your useing other wax,at the moment
all my candles are pure beeswax.

I am upset at the thought of adding other waxes.

Its also 100% beeswax for me.

I made a few last week with the rolled foundation method and loved the smell they gave off.

Just need to get some moulds now for the 500lb of wax I have in the garage.

I think Markbee made a big mistake for telling us that..:)

I just notice he had banned under his name.
Doe's that mean he has been banned from the forum???

He has a 2 week ban that he asked me to impose.
He was getting a little silly with his posts(such as saying he mixes other waxes with his candles just to get attention),I told him that if he continued it would end up just me and him chatting on here as he would drive members away.

I dont think you have to think to hard to work out who he was, even with a change of forum name.

I must say that in the last 48 hours the forum does feel a lot more at ease with him not posting.
