Can anyone ID this weed? It grow to about 6 feet tall and my bees are all over it, mainly for nectar I think but some are sporting small amounts of pollen.

That made me smile. I googled 'six foot weed' and ended up with loads of links to cannabis!

Euphorbia / milkweed

It looks like a type of Euphorbia, but I'm not sure which one.

Finally got away from work (Horticulture!) to check this properly - it's Euphorbia Lathyris, grows here in the south of England too.

Thanks all for the ID and for the warning about the sap. As soon as it has finished flowering it has to go - gloves and great carenot worthy
