I recently made a number of two frame nucs and they all seem to be busy and gradually increasing in bee numbers.
I haven't fed as they are finding forage somewhere.
I would like to treat all my colonies with apivar but wonder if I should wait until they are stronger.
Will apivar be ok on these small nucs in this really hot weather? I am on the south coast and it's 31 degrees today.
Would you treat or wait for cooler weather?

You are governed by the duration of the treatment, 6 to 10 weeks so leaving it late means removing the strips in November.
Personally, I would not put apivar in a very small nuc,
