I have bought frames from Swienty for my Langstroths. Does anyone know if the groove in the top and bottom bars go to the outside or the inside of the frames? This is for the 3/4 frames for the supers and I'm not sure what the grooves are for.

I have changed some of my nationals over to poly langstroth hives this year [swienty] Does any one using the same hive use mouse guards I am not sure, but I think I have read somewhere you don't need to use them on this make of hive ?

Does anybody else have these gaps in their swienty national polys? I bought 3 to try this year and after assembling and painting I noticed gaps between the tops and bottom of the hives when stacked on top of each other. The gaps are about 2mm all the way around except for the corners.

This year I want to sell honey at markets but am being asked for Public and Product Liability Insurance Certificate. Does being a member of the BBKA cover this and how do I get the actual certificate, or do I need to take out my own through an insurance company. Any helpful advice would be...
