I have bought frames from Swienty for my Langstroths. Does anyone know if the groove in the top and bottom bars go to the outside or the inside of the frames? This is for the 3/4 frames for the supers and I'm not sure what the grooves are for.

.
First you put wires to the frames. 2 wires.

When you embed the wires to wax with electrict, you put the wax into upper groove and then into lower groove. Lower groove's purpose is that when the wax expands in the heat of hive and it expands into the groove. another reason is that some beeks do not use wires and douple groove keeps foundation in it site. But unwired comb is easy to break out in extracting.

car accu loader is good in heating the wires into wax.
