    Best Way To Store Frames.

    I have one useless little hive that I will be combining with another hive at the weekend. This will leave me with a brood box of drawn out brood frames. I`m also hoping to extract two supers.     What next?

    My oh has just rushed of and collected a swarm to prevent it being killed.Its about the size of a rugby ball. He collected it in a poly-nuc,and has put it in our out-apiery with the small vent open. I would like eventually to unite with a weak hive,but can`t find the queen in said hive...

    Nuc Box or Travel Box.

    I am going to the New Forest to collect a swarm of bees that a friend has hived for me.Bringing them back to Taunton area. Would they be ok to travel in a nuc box,or,should I get a travel box?(Yet to buy either). Concerned about ventilation. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Totally Gutted. Bees All Gone.

    I opened our only hive for a quick inspection on Bank Holiday Monday. Didn`t see the queen,but lots of bees about, pollen going in. Looked again yesterday,no bees flying, just a few in the hive. No brood. This would have been my third year of beekeeping.
