    Rats

    it has been a ridicules year for rats, our suppler for work at one point had a 3 week waiting list for coated dressed wheat, to say that when we could get it in stock watching it be sold by the half tone was depressing, last year we sold a couple of tuns a month, this year was easily 15 times that.

    jewelry scales accurate to 0.001g of amazon did the trick for me. and don't bother buying deionized water just collect rain water in a plastic container job done.

    Well it has happened. I'm hiding my th*rns delivery in my office draw, Under my office desk and a deep under the kitchen table. It's staying at work until it can be QUIETLY taken to the bee shed. She dosnt need to know!

    Worst scaremongering article this year?

    Why import poorly adapted bees into a area to reck the local gean pool when we have fantastic bees and good yields. we have our methods for a reason... they work in our climate for our bees!

    Roofs again (sorry!)

    i use sheets of plastic "stockbored" from the local agricultural merchants. its about 15mm deep and makes nice roofs, [ no wood involved just some nasty glue that bonds the plastic] i sandwich a lump of kingspan under the top so it looks quite a monster
