    Moving a hive

    Hive move I was in the same position last year I was advised by the tree surgeon Ionly had to move the hive from under the tree canopy. I did this 3 meters a day at night this was in April I had no problems when the trees where being worked on the bees just got on with what they do. Good luck

    Thanks for that Hivemaker. I intend to continue to monitor the mite drop and leave the vorroa board in over the winter If the mite drop continues do you think I should vape again in the future. Im suprised and pleased the mite drop is rated as low. Thanks

    I carried out my first vaporization it went well, today when I checked the vorroa board there where 17 mites. My Question is what further treatment should I carry out I have read that 3 to 4 further treatments 5 days apart untill the mite drop is 5 or less. Thanks

    Winter Hive Set Up

    I am in a similar position I have carried out the Apigard treatment and stopped feeding I put the super under the brood the OMF is open there is 50mm of insulation under the roof. As Blaz said I would love to go and have a look but I think I should leave well alone.

    Oxalic Acid Vaporizer

    That is what I have now I will place the Vaporiser under the OMF my concern is will the Oxcilic Acid affect the OMF.
