Hello All. Was going to do first inspection tomorrow but feels a little too chilly still. Forecast says temp won’t get above 12 tomorrow. Shall I hold on a little longer do you think? Rain has stopped at least. OSR is out! Getting earlier and earlier - something to do with cabbage beetles I heard.
What’s everyone else planning? What guides you all with timing of first inspection?

I went through all my colonies yesterday, it was 15d, with very little breeze. I did a disease inspection, checked for queens and laying, stores, and marked a queen. It all depends on where you are and what the conditions are like. I have a sheltered south facing apiary, I usually, and did this year, manage a quick look in middle of feb to make sure all is well. The weather then shuts down till the end of March.
