A colony swarmed, with no sealed Q cells which rather surprised me, I inspected 7 days ago when there were no signs, but today they appeared to have swarmed. I have removed all 6 unsealed Q cells. I have a collected swarm covering 6 frames of brood which I intend to amalgamate with the swarmed colony tomorrow. Will this be OK? It will at least release a BB floor and roof for future use.

Yes, presumably the 2 colonies are within 3 ft of each other (more or less)?

Put the Qless colony on top.

Doesn't really matter - put the colony that's been moved above the newspaper and the hassle of uniting and mixing with new bees will reset their 'GPS'
