Where to put the entrance hole in a nuc-box?

I just made some nucs using 12mm ply. The entrance hole is at 5".
I'm not a joiner and this was my first project. I hope I have built the correctly!

That's not a ventilation hole in the roof is it ? If it is ... block it up - totally unnecessary.
