Called out to a fair sized swarm 5-30pm last night pouring with rain 3ft off the ground on the tip of a branch shook into skep not a bee took to the wing wrapped up back home in less than hour, when are they going to stop swarming . What is the record for the latest swarm.

LOL yes I asked for that in the season I mean't

With this years weather in mind, swarms could be taking place till late in September.
I have tried to graft into queen cups in last 3 weeks. They get capped but do not hatch, so maybe the capped queen cells that promote swarming could be over soon. (Maybe I said).
Plenty of nectar out there and everything is so late this year so who knows.
Bob.
