Just been to Bookers (Cwmbran ) and they had a pallet of slightly damaged 25kg bags of sugar. £15 per bag. I took 75kg so still plenty left if you are in the area. With this rain yu may need it.
 
They should be cheaper than that if they are damaged that works out to be £1.66 per kg

think you need a new calculator! try 60p

Supermarkets at 80p/kg seems pretty good when you consider you're not making an extra journey in the car and are collecting loyalty points - maybe even able to collect/use a £2 off £20 type voucher, or a 5p/litre off fuel discount etc...
