My captured swarm of last weekend is doing well. I treated with OA yesterday and was pleased to see bees drawing out 14 x 12 foundation for all they were worth, with the queen scurrying about almost as if to tell them to get a move on! From last Sunday, I have added my own encouragement by giving them a gallon of 1:1 syrup. They are still slurping it down. I'm thinking of removing it now as there should be no more need for it as a stimulus or for food, with other nectar available for foragers. What say you?

I agree with your decision - in fact i don't think I'd have fed a gallon in the first place,
as the weather's mild and abundant nectar available and you don't want them to start storing it...
