I am looking to buy a coarse filter or two for Heather Honey. The size I am after is 1/4 of and inch and another at 1/8 inch.
I have found some extreme heavy duty bucket filters on the internet at Utah Biodiesel Supplies (USA) at a fair price (around £65 each for stainless steel) However they become a little more expensive when VAT and import charges are applied.

Any suggestions for a UK supplier please?

For what it's worth I just filter through the 2 "standard" stainless steel filters that most beekeeping suppliers sell. No idea of mesh size but they remove any missed bits of wax from pressed heather honey.

How about a bit of lateral thinking? A plastic, or stainless steel, sheet of mesh that will overlay a support structure? Plastic mesh is cheap and easily cleaned. Even a bee excluder might be effective?
