i am working up at the wirrel at the moment staying near a place called heswell, went down to the shore line last night to collect some seaweed for the allotment , only to find massive mud flats and saltmarches instead, and no seaweed any where

does anyone this way know of any beaches that are easy access for a wheel barrow that has seaweed swept up , on to the beach i can collect.

Burbo bank road in Crosby, through the tunnel from you is probably worth a try. Local council sometimes Hoover up the sea weed and limiter after high tide, but probably only at weekends, plus you get to see the iron men statues.....
If your feeling really lazy then head to Ainsdale Beach near southport 30/40 mins from you and you can drive right onto the beach.......

You could try West Kirby, near the sailing club, or just round the corner at the end of the Wirral.
