What does the term 'stylised flight' mean when referring to a queen mating flight.

I assume it refers to Apis Mellifera as a species and the way in which they mate as a species, that being different and highly stylized to them?

I doubt it refers to the way in which they fly but maybe someone else has an idea.

Thanks for the reply just in a powerpoint I've been asked to present -'Stylised flight to prevent damage' - has me confused as to what it means.

Anybody any other ideas???

Sorry 'flight' in a way pleased that others are finding difficult to answer

Just not getting the info here. Where has this presentation come from is the first thing? Second is what are the slides before and after the one that is troubling saying?
