So how do people reckon the advice works here? I have in theory sold my bees - Can I deliver them (7 colonies) about 20 miles away, and be working in the spirit of the advice, or should I postpone the sale? Bearing in mind some colonies are two person lifts...

Your moving livestock your working earning a living it’s clear you are fine to do it provided you do so observing the protocols.IMO

Get the buyer to help unload so you are a one person in car beekeeper.. Two in a car is asking for intervention by the police.
