It's a clever idea, the cost will be interesting to see. More that £6 - £8 a board I think I'd use other methods that actually kill them.
 
Excuse me if I'm being a bit slow
Is the idea that the heat would disrupt only the Varroa's fertilisation leaving the bee larvae viable?
Or is everything in the sealed cell destroyed?
 
Are they battery or mains? If it fires up every time a cell is capped its going to be on virtually permanantly for most the year. Lol
 
Expect it will be another thing to be viewed by beekeepers in wonderment, then disappear off the radar, never to be heard of again.

Not sure, but if the larvae don't survive it sounds like automated drone culling.
 
Mitenot and Mitezapper sound remarkably similar. Poor old drones take a pasting again.
