Just collected a swarm in Leics

I used to keep bees but my Jack Russell hated them so I don't have any kit. I collected a swarm earlier today from a friends garage wall as he was freaking out and they are boxed up (obviously don't know if there is a Queen). What to do?

Seriously, locate local bee soc and give them away.

Simple. Either get some kit pdq, find a home for them, or release them.

The last alternative, which should not be acceptable to a beekeeper (or anyone else for that matter) would be destruction.

Your local BKA would be a good place to offer them a new home.
