"thick rain"

What some might refer to as 'sleet'? Just means it is colder up there in the clouds than down there at 6 degrees. Nothing to worry about.

I don't suggest it is anything to worry about and for me sleet shows as white flecks falling among the rain "thick rain" doesn't its a stage before sleet in my metreological observations.

Sunglasses away, thermals on. 4c max Driving rain, hail and a bitter wind.
Winter has arrived in sub-tropical Bury and no sign of the bees venturing out en mass at last. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
:hurray:

I said more or less the same thing when I started this thread - but today..........
Bees venturing out en masse!!!

10-14 degrees through the morning in the NorthWest. Early on and lots of activity and some decent loads of Ivy pollen still coming in. But now weather closed in colder and rain.
