Hi I'm new to the forum
My name is Seb I'm a recent graduate of zoology, and from burnley in lancashire
I've spent all summer as a volunteer apiary assistant, at OffShoots in burnley.
With the beebreader I've helped breed british black bees (Apis melifera melifera)
There goal is to be a fully fledge bee farm breeding british black's
We have 20+ hives with a few nukes,

After spending long hours with the bees getting stung every now and then, I've decided id'e like to go into the industry so if you know any jobs or apprenticeships please let me know.

I look forward to reading and commenting on threads,

- Seb

My suggestion? Make your own business. Find a site, a few hives and off you go! I think it unlikely that you will find a 'job' with another beekeeper as profits are low and to pay an assistant would probably be cost prohibitive.
Welcome by the way

Twenty hives - small outfit then :D
The BFA are now doing an apprenticeship scheme I believe - I think Chris B was taking one on this year. Try contacting the Bee Farmar's Association.
