There was a large scale beekeeper last year who went to the heather and I followed his operation on twitter I think it was. I found his posts interesting, does anybody know who this was?? Thanks Darren

Did a recce three weeks ago. Bell heather mainly brown. Going to assess ling heather next week. Sandy heathland.

Out in West Surrey last week the bell on sandy heath was disappointing: probably 40% of 2019 growth and already in half-hearted flower. Likely that the drought in May/June put the stoppers on it.
