Glue and screw or nails?

I glue, cramp then nail. Polyurethane glue is good - Gorilla etc. but wear disposable gloves as it takes a week to wear off your hands. Make sure you get everything the right way round and sides slid in at the right height - they won't come apart again.

For the last couple of years I have used PVA glue and 6mm dowels then clamp. No nails or screws. I can't quite explain it but I find dowelling most satisfying!

I nailed and glued,but in hindsight I thing screws would be better as if you make a mistake it is easier to fix the problem.
