Reliable report of first swarm of the year in Lincolnshire. IT CERTAINLY WASNT ONE OF MINE. UNLESS THEY HAVE ALL JOINED FORCES :icon_204-2:
 
I think susbees misread someone writing "it s warm"
 
This thread might be April 1st joke. BUT It was 17 degrees here on 5th March (yes really we had spring that day) and I inspected. One of my hives had 2 queen cups. I was surprised because they were not there going into winter and I thought they were planning ahead a bit. Normally I would have had a look later to check whether they extended the cups but the weather was not warm enough (It was snowing). The bees are still in there but I recon they gave up any swarming ideas. Bailey comb change planned asap. Weather and other variables permitting.
