Equipment for children

As above, im looking for a smoker and a hive tool suitable for a 9 year old. My son spent the last couple of seasons at the bees with me and is comfortable around them so I'm looking to get him a bit more hands on with the bee keeping this year.

Any good recommendations for smaller scale equipment?

There are mini hive tools available but a standard one is surely ok?
I've seen standard smokers adapted for smaller hand spans by a screw in eyelet in each of the bellow boards and a plug chain between them

Those normal small smokers are fine for kids and they want something that’s actually practical. Hive tools come in various sizes pretty sure I’ve seen some small ones at thornes not specifically for kids but should do the job.

is a bit smaller and manageable than the others, I find it much more ergonomic and sometimes forget it's in my hand (once drove home from an out apiary and I was almost in the driveway before I realised it was still in my hand.

I think I have the same one. It seems to be considerably better made than some of my others, too.
