Electric extractor problems

Hi
My electric honey extractor is refusing to work today for no apparent reason! Its been fantastic up to now with no problems. I am looking for ideas about what may be wrong, and what I should check.

Fuse?

Its got damp?

Turn it by hand and see if it moves........switch it off first tho.

Check the simple things firs.

Check or replace fuse in plug.
Check for broken wires in plug or switch on the extractor.

If none of these are the problem, I would suggest an electrician if you are not competent with electric.

If in doubt get a qualified electrician to look at it

Brushes (most good motors will have easily changed brushes)

Does it have a safety switch? If so, check that too.
