Drone Clearout.

Looking at the grass in front of the hive in my garden it looks like a battlefield and the drones lost.....
Last Thursday before I went away for weekend I noticed there was masses of them and other bees were not bring any pollen in, but today there is plenty of pollen. No idea what it is though. Very light green..... Mostly get red and yellow here..

Certainly not light on stores.....I took 5 full frames out of the top super the other day and left them with the other 5 for the time being..I didnt get to the other super because it started to rain.

There's several areas of unmown grass verges not far away..trees, bushes, Aldi,

Any tulip trees nearby? Very pale lemony green pollen. Just started flowering here. Bees love it!
