Closing up after inspection- handy found queen but eggs there so all happy.

Just about to put hive lid on and a bee was moving in the corner. On closer inspection it was my queen! Lucky spot....

Anyone else had any close runs?!

Too easy, when you put QE on top of supers when stacking by hive, always turn it upside down, it is too easy for the queen to be on it, she scurries down into the supers before you can stop her.
Always check QE and crown boards carefully!
