Hi all,

I'll be visiting the caribbean island of Bonaire soon and was wondering whether any beekeeping takes place there. Google isn't very helpful.

Cheers,
Rob.

Hi, it may well be worth contacting 'bees for development'.

How is that related Rolande?

possible assistance with contacts/suggestions

From their website:
Regional - The Association of Caribbean Beekeepers' Organisations (ACBO) and Bees for Development are working together on a number of initiatives including organisation of the Caribbean Apiculture Congresses. Bees for Development has particularly strong links with beekeepers in Trinidad & Tobago, and St Vincent & The Grenadines. During 2003-2004 we provided research and training services to the research project on top-bar hives in Tobago
