As a newbee what would the more experience recommend as the basic list of items I would need as a bee first aid and health kit to treat/prevent mites/viruses and diseases etc?

And what are the pros and cons of the various products being offered?

Antihistamin tablets and cream.
I also use peroxide on stings...

Ed Woods, I understood this to mean first aid for the bees, not for the beekeeper? I'd be interested to know too.

Yes first aid and health for the bees - not for the beekeeper :)

When I started keeping chickens I was able to purchase a package that contained medicines, vitamins, cider vinegar for the water etc - I can't seem to find anything similar for the bee keeper - so what are tha basic items I would need to keep my girls happy and disease free?
