    What paint/sealer do you use for cosies?

    Was looking to get some Thompson Roofseal for the Kingspan cosies I have made, as recommended on here.. But looking at the specs for the stuff it sais that the 2.5ltr containers are "Low odour" but the 4 ltr are "High odour" A bit confusing as they are being sold as the same product...

    12 volt fan for polytunnel

    Pollen Frames

    Wimberries/Bilberries

    Took a short stroll up the "mountain" ( side of the valley) this Pm to pick some wimberries. Managed to get these in approx 30 mins using a berry picker. Will be going back up next week to collect more to make jam etc.

    Sparrows

    Has any one had trouble with sparrows taking their bees? This is the second year I've got a flock of the little buggers bothering the hives..Have tried a few things to keep them away, Even had a cat on a leash in the apiary, just joking. Any ideas please.
