    OA was applied last winter and 2x formic pro this year due to a very high V count, the brood box was placed above the QE. Some of the frames I am able to extract but your thoughts please on extracting some frames from last year that had OA, there has been no brood in these frames.

    Prior to extracting I did do the shake test this year & have done the same previous years but measured after as a new refractometer arrived to find the honey was over 22%, I gave the honey a stir with all coming out at 18%. At this stage I am not 100% sure my refractometer was set correctly...
