Hi all,
I collected this swarm from Harewood 3 weeks ago. (see attachments)
I had to improvise a collection box and found I could fit a brood frame diagonally in a polystyrene broccoli box.
The swarm was very calm and easily scooped into the box and stragglers cupped and dropped in with their mates.
They are now in a brood box and are busy filling frames and the queen is laying!
Kind regards,
