    Poly roof diy info please

I was at our local dump this week and managed to get several large sheets of triple ply roofing from a conservatory that has been pulled down. Cost £10 for the lot and will make great roofs.

    Help for Heroes

I would like to thank Noddy for his very kind comments and also support his comments about John Perry from Portsmouth BKA, Ivor Davis and also the BBKA Head Office for their support in making this course (and future courses) possible. It is so nice to see some positive comments on this forum...

Hive Insulation - October BBKA News

Lots of things said on here that are completely uncalled for and you are a person who has done just that to me in the past:hairpull:.....just making a point and maybe being a little mischievous...and yes very bored now!

    Help For Heroes Project

Thanks Pete D yes I am aware of this project and in the fullness of time we hope to bring this and other similar projects together so that there is a bigger involvement. I have already received e-mails from two similar projects keen to link up.

    Help For Heroes Project

dpearce4 - I can assure you that this is all in hand but thank you for raising it. There are people at Tedworth House who have identified the risks and they will be communicated to mentors and all involved. You are right people far more knowledgable than me on these things are doing this and...

    Help For Heroes Project

Gilberdyke John - I don't really know how much you know about me & this forum but I am happy to explain if you have the time. Suffice to say I am really not a fan of some of the people on this forum and so perhaps the easier thing to do would to have not advertised this here. . However I also...

    Help For Heroes Project

derekm....you have added the detail needed, it is exactly that and I thank you for making your point. A local BKA may in time be a good means of ongoing support but a lot of the WIS could not make the move or find the nerve to go along to a meeting with people they do not know. That is the whole...

    Help For Heroes Project

OK just a few points to put the record straight..... Pargyle - Some good points but I get the feeling your negative approach is focussed at me and not the project (like your friends Cussword, ErichaBee etc). Frankly I DGAF about your feelings for me but you raise some points in your latter...

    Help For Heroes Project

BeeJayBee - Yes you are right local associations run very good course no dis-service to them shown or intended and we will be recommending to WIS that they join their local BKA. However many of these courses are run over 10-12 sessions often on the same day of the week which will mean lots of...

    Help For Heroes Project

Thank you to everyone and I am sorry for the sad little lives of the three people who once again feel it is appropriate to be as negative as they possibly can. Sad really but I I won't be deviated from this project it is something I have worked very hard to establish and will continue to do...

ValMc yes thank you for pointing this out they have a couple of hives and have had for some while they are managed by a very nice and committed member of staff however they are not geared up to run courses and we are going to start by running them from Tedworth House and maybe later once we know...

    Help For Heroes Project

Good afternoon to you all, I hope that your summer crop has been good. I am in the process of setting up a network of people across the UK to support injured servicemen and women who want to become beekeepers. And I am seeking volunteers to support this. Let me explain the project..... Many...
