Hi,it's my first year with bee's and looks like I'am going to be extracting some honey for myself(How good is that).Have purchased a 2nd hand extractor and I'am looking at a purchasing a very nice stainless steel settling tank with a metal tap from Wynnes. What do you think.I know I can buy plastic much cheaper, but I figure this will last me a lifetime.Thanks.

hello Frenchie,

you cant go wrong with a stainless/steel tank, i think they sell the same as i use Carl Fri--z equipment ,they are the best :sifone:

Buy a good tap and fix it to cheap plastic bucket used for brewing beer. Works just as well and is lighter!

Ahh, we have some posers on the forum, do we?

If it works and is safe, does it rally matter if it doesn't cost a packet?
