The Welsh convention is on Saturday.
It's a bit of a trek from here (About 2 hours) but I'm starting out, so need plenty of kit. Does anyone know if (Historically) there really are bargains to be had, or is it generally just a few bits for the early birds?

LOads of bargains but get there early.

 Thanks - I thought I'd seen it mentioned somewhere - I even used search for 'Builth Wells', which pulled back 2010 and 2011 threads, but not that one... :blush5:

What can I expect if I go please - there's only one of the talks I'd be wanting to hear, so for the rest, is it a number of commercial suppliers, or just one or two major ones?

thorns, mazemore and several other suppliers are normally there and have good offers on. I bought some supers last year for £8 each cedar slight seconds but went together great.
