It does look good, I wish our association's used equipment sale had a quarter as much on offer.

Good couple of hours on a Sunday morning. About 15 'car boots' selling all sorts of beekeeping stuff. Several people had put odd bits in and shared a stall.
Plenty of bargains to be had, all bits and pieces that you think I need that and a few years later have never used. I got 4 unused Apideas for £20, a top quality bee suit for a tenner, 10 pairs unused 10 space castellations for £8, 15lb of beeswax for £20 and a copper smoker for a fiver amongst my purchases.
Hives for sale, top price was £60 or 2 for £110, supers down to £2 each at the end, nice observation hive £50, boxes of jars £20, nucs of bees £120,loads of stuff, loads of people and loads of bee talk over free coffee and cake, and the sun was out !

Much more friendlier and less intimidating than an auction.

Same next year, Sunday of the first bank holiday in May.

It sounds lots of fun.

Does anywhere else do anything similar?
There's not a comprehensive list of bee auctions is there?
