I usually vaporise my colonies using oxalic acid about 3 times at this time of year and find it very effective. I have this year been persuaded to use API- Bioxal but having done one round of treatment note the warning on the pack that it should only be administered once?

I am concerned this will not provide adequate coverage within the brood cycle to reduce varroa numbers as per my previous experience. Does anyone use API- Bioxal more than once and have they noted any harm to their colonies?

The 'use only once' caveat is if you apply it using the trickling method. however, if you use it for sublimating you will find that your sublimox will soon get clarted up with all the other sh!t contained in the mix.

Fill the crucible with water between vapes?

only way - water, turn it on and hope the crud dissolves so you can swill it out

Pretty pointless just vaping once and expecting to see a still healthy colony come midwinter
