what type of hive is this?

In the absence of any other clues I guess it is some sort of top bar hive which uses conventionally framed supers and probably WBC based in size looking at the roof.
 
Not having any idea I would say a very unusual one. Is it yours or have you just found it?
 
yep, it's a catenary hive, with a national super on it. entrance via the super ( holes in side )
not presently populated, but at the Waveney Beekeepers Group apiary.
