Honeybee Biosecurity labelling on Honey Jars

The nature of AFB outbreaks i.e. sporadic and largely non recurring after elimination(from a regional inspector), implies outside contamination
e.g. honey from disposed containers.

I would propose compulsary labelling on all honey jars both imported and local something like:

" Please help protect your local honeybees and bumblebees from the spread of disease by carefully washing this container after use and before disposal"

Not in favour - the general public will just remember something about honey spreading diseases, it's on every jar...
